Between releasing the pilot episode of the Let’s Talk Beer podcast and today, Brian moved to Singapore for a month and I increased my human litter by one with a baby girl. So, yeah, a lot has happened in a year! We are officially returning, however, with full force. We are proud to be re-launching Let’s Talk Beer, both the website and the podcast. The LTB podcast will focus on talking to local personalities in and around the brewing industry, focusing mainly on brewers but also incorporating shop owners or restaurateurs; the “beer adjacent,” if you will. We’ll also be continuing with more episodes of Let’s NOT Talk Beer, where you’ll still get to know the same people, but in the capacity outside of the beer world – what music they love, stories from their past, and what drives them day-to-day. This just in from Jessica Bartlett – Reporter from Boston Business Journal Newburyport, MA’s RiverWalk Brewing is about to get a new home. And it’s 10 times bigger. The brewery announced the plans during a public unveiling Saturday. The project, estimated to cost between $1 million and $1.5 million, will be funded partly through a MassDevelopment loan, as well as though a bank loan and a number of private investors. The new 20,000-square-foot space will allow the brewery to massively expand production, with plans to grow its 2,000-barrel annual output eventually to 20,000 barrels. The brewery has plans to add another 10 employees to its existing roster and also to brew more varieties of beer, recently having added several new hop contracts. The new tap room alone will be bigger than its current total space, with a 3,000-square-foot area offering 12 tap lines and the opportunity to sample full pints of beer.
